Delivery

When it comes to Frodeli customers gettin' their goods, we do our best to keep our delivery options clear and easy to understand.

 A Bit About Our Carrier

We know how important it is that your crumbles, sponges and tortes receive the five-star treatment they deserve, that’s why DPD are our exclusive carrier.  As well as being dedicated to handling each and every order with care, DPD are committed to making every parcel delivery carbon neutral. They do this by measuring emissions, making efforts to reduce them and offsetting any remaining emissions.

Where Does Frodeli Deliver To?

We're able to serve our sumptuous sweets to most of the UK Mainland. If you take a look at the map below, we are able to serve the area in blue.

What Will Delivery Cost?

You can select the day you’d like your order to be delivered at the online checkout, but we’ve kept things nice and simple by offering the three options below.

FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER £75

Next  / Nominated Day Delivery (available Monday - Friday) - £5.99

Saturday Delivery - £7.99

How Will I Know When To Expect My Delivery?

Once your order is despatched, we’ll let you know by sending you an email confirmation. You will also receive an email or text message from DPD, who will provide you with a one-hour time window so you’ll know when to expect your scrumptious desserts. We will make every effort to deliver your order when you are available to avoid your puddings being left safe – we don’t want the neighbours tucking into your tasty tortes!

What Should I Do When My Delivery Arrives?

All our desserts are handmade in our Yorkshire kitchens and immediately frozen so your priceless puds stay as fresh as the day they were made. This also ensures that your precious cargo is robust enough for transit and won’t be damaged by any bumps in the road along the way.

Our boxes are packed with dry ice to make sure your icy offerings stay icy! Whilst dry ice evaporates over time, there may be a small amount left in the box. If this is the case, you can simply leave it to evaporate, away from the reach of children and animals. Once fully evaporated, the plastic packet can be placed straight in to your recycling bin. Top tip: dry ice evaporates best in a well-ventilated room, so don’t be afraid to open a window and let the fresh air roll in!

WARNING: DRY ICE CAN CAUSE FROSTBITE. DO NOT TOUCH THE DRY ICE WITH BARE HANDS. ALWAYS USE A TOWEL.

How Do I Defrost My Desserts?

For those who are more restrained and prefer to save their cake for later, you can place your desserts into your freezer for safe-keeping. However, if you’ve been waiting at the door, spoon at the ready since 6am, simply place the desserts onto a plate and allow them to defrost in the fridge. Defrosting time can vary depending on the pudding, so each order is provided with handling guidelines for your convenience.

We Love Recycling!

Frodeli loves recycling and we hope you do too! All the packaging that your order arrives with is recyclable or reusable.

Our cardboard box, insert and the plastic packet from the wool can be placed straight into your recycling, while the plastic sleeve that houses the dry ice can be recycled at your local supermarket.

Our soft and squidgy insulation once belonged to local sheep – don’t worry, no sheep were harmed. We support local sheep owners by repurposing their wool which would otherwise be discarded. The wool can be reused in your gardening, crafting or composting. Or, feel free to return it to nature where birds and wildlife will use it for nest-building and to keep warm.
